Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and building an AR. I am wondering what y'all think are the most important parts to make sure you get a high quality rifle. I value accuracy, durability and dependability. Which components should I expect to spend more on to insure quality? What recommendations do you have? I'm looking to build both a 300 Blackout and a 5.56. Thanks for all of your help and consideration.

You can build yourself a really nice and dependable rifle for cheap these days.

Aero precision is putting out some nice barrels at great prices. Good BCGs can be had for $125 to $150 and an ALG ACT trigger will run you all of $55.

If I were putting together a budget build I would use:

Aero precision stripped upper and lower set (non blem) $115 for the set!
http://www.shop.doasales.net/AERO-PRECISION-STRIPPED-LOWER-UPPER-SET-AERO-RECEIVER-SET.htm

The takedown pin detent hole is even threaded for a set screw on these.

Parts kit from PSA
Barrel and gas block from Aero precision
BCM BCG
ALG ACT trigger
SLR SOLO or INTREPID Rail system
And/or other furniture of your choice.

I would buy everything I needed from the EE except for the receivers and barrel.

End up with a great rifle for under $700

Thanks for all of your input! Any recommendations for a good barrel and bolt carrier group?
