I bought the LT104 and couldn't be happier. I shoot with my M4 stock in the second position from closed, with my nose about 2" from the charging handle. In my opinion, the Extended SPR mount would require you to shoot nose to charging handle. If that isn't a comfortable position for you, give yourself a bit more flexibility with the normal SPR mount.
