I have a Colt MT6700 A3 type AR15. I've taken off the carry handle, and added a Troy folding BUIS. Since I shoot alot at 100yds, I bought a Millet TRS1 Scope, which I hope is a good decision since I have to wait 4 weeks to get it.
However, in the meanwhile, I have a couple of Red Dot sights that I would like to try to co/absolute witness.
My 30mm Ultradot is on my Ruger Govt Target Pistol. I really don't want to disturb this setup because it's a wicked accurate combo.
I also have a Truglow 2X red dot on my Turkey Semi-Auto Shotgun. Although the Truglo is a bottom of the barrel chinese optic, I'd like to play with it on my AR15 to see if I like, or would even want a CQB co/absolute witness setup.
I have a riser bar that I have mounted a scope on previously. When I mount the Truglo on the Riser, it is to high to witness. When I mount the Truglo without the riser it is to low and the Iron Sights are to high.
Is there any way to my the Truglo? Or just a waste of time?
I do realize that  EOTech and Aimpont quality product have a wide variety of mount for compatibility.

Thanks,
Bruce
