Currently I have an AAC Blackout on my 16" AAC barreled upper. Wanting to switch to something that will mitigate recoil better for faster follow up shots. Been looking at the AAC Brakeout 2.0 but wondering what out there is good. Not wanting an extreme brake and not needing a mount type. One I've really been looking at is the Surefire MB. Any input is much appreciated.

I find this one works really well. Creates one heck of a fireball out of either side of the gun though!

Strike industries jcomp.   I added this to my rifle and it cut the recoil in half.  And it's $35

I wouldn't do a surefire comp unless you are running a suppressor, they are incredibly loud.

I'm about ready to sell my BCM comps and go back to regular old A2s I believe.

I based my purchase off watching a video from the truth about Guns that tested like 70 something muzzle devices purely for their recoil reduction.  Some of the ones that claimed to reduce all recoil didn't even do that great.

Precision Armament AFAB: http://precisionarmament.com/product/afab-flash-hider-compensator/
A surprisingly effective all-around hybrid, IMHO.

Last month I went with the VG6 Epsilon.  My only other device experience has been with the A2.  I'm sticking with the Epsilon

Been looking at that one also. Anyone have experience with the Griffin Armament M4SDII? It's a hybrid flash hider, compensator, and muzzle brake all in one. Also the AAC Brakeout 2.0. I think those are the 2 I've narrowed it down to.

I run battlecomp 2.0's cause I run a Halo suppressor. Even if I didn't I would still choose them.

Ended up going with the AAC 51t muzzle brake.  Pretty happy with it so far. It came with a blast shield also so if need be I can put it on.
