I'm in the market for a new comp/brake/flash hider on my SHTF setup. 16" 5.56. I currently have a Rainier Arms mini comp on it. While it's great for range work, the concussion and flash are horrible. I couldn't imagine shooting the thing indoors...
I'd ideally like something with some flash suppression, some compensation, and little to no increase in noise (perceived OR actual) compared to a standard A2 flash hider. I've looked at the battlecomp, spike's dynacomp, and a few others. Other than forgetting them all and putting a suppressor on, what do you recommend? Should I forget the compensation part of my equation? |

Should I forget the compensation part of my equation? This is by far the best option, in my opinion: http://s411814840.e-shop.info/shop/article_1/KA-1222A-brake_suppressor.html?shop_param=cid%3D2%26aid%3D1%26 However, it is louder than a standard A2 comp, but I do not believe it to be terribly bad. Quieter compensators will cost more. |

Smith Vortex or AAC Blackout. Blackout has a slight edge in flash but is a little more expensive.
