[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Muzzle Threading Question!!!

I have a Bushy A-2 H-Bar, and I want to thread it for a Phantom.

My question is, will the barrel need to be turned down (reduced in diameter) at the muzzle before threading? It's diameter is .701", as it sits now.
