This is my 7" olyarms k23 "stubby" ar. In Italy, thanks to a law that rule as pistol every weapon with a barrel under 12" as pistol, it's declared hand-held weapon, or pistol.

I can use it for self defence with my CCW, and it's legal to have it with 20-30 rd magazines as opposed to full-lenght barrel carbines that are restricted to 5-10 rds.

The k23 is a short, beutiful ar, never malfunctioned in every way, I shoot some 2000 rds with it, as now, it has a pigtail gas tube, free floating handguard and a vortex flash hider.

Muzzle blast is FIERCE, but flash is not existent.

Here I am at my local range, trying the shortie with a crane stock and a wesatch (the wesatch is the worst piece of gear I've ever owned, but that's another story...

That's an awesome piece you have there. That law about less than 12" is pretty cool too. I'll be the first to say, I am jealous.

Now, how exactly do you conceal that little shooter? (You mentioned CCW....)

Hehehe, the stock is longer than the barrel!

Obviously I do not conceal the ar in a holster, I keep it in my passenger seat while driving to remote areas, then i sling it and travel by foot with it.
