This is my 7" olyarms k23 "stubby" ar. In Italy, thanks to a law that rule as pistol every weapon with a barrel under 12" as pistol, it's declared hand-held weapon, or pistol. I can use it for self defence with my CCW, and it's legal to have it with 20-30 rd magazines as opposed to full-lenght barrel carbines that are restricted to 5-10 rds. The k23 is a short, beutiful ar, never malfunctioned in every way, I shoot some 2000 rds with it, as now, it has a pigtail gas tube, free floating handguard and a vortex flash hider. Muzzle blast is FIERCE, but flash is not existent. Here I am at my local range, trying the shortie with a crane stock and a wesatch (the wesatch is the worst piece of gear I've ever owned, but that's another story...
