I would ditch that optic & purchase a quality sight if you want it to hold zero & stand up to rough handling.

It came with the gun.  It seems to hold zero just fine. I did have to adjust the spring to keep it from turning off, but otherwise it works fine. At least until I can buy something nicer.

Did you change out the upper receivers? First pic looks like an A2

Someone did. The upper in the first picture is a C7.

ETA: Good looking rifle OP! I don't care much for that grip, though.

Looks good but heres where i would go next,

1. Get a Magpul MOE/CTR stock
2. TROY or similar BUIS
3. Ditch that pistol grip
4. Add a light
5. Ditch the optic and save for an aimpoint or eotech.

and of course more pmags, ammo and training.

Ha, just picked up the Rolex ( my first as well)

It's a Milgauss. Not everyone's favorite, but has a special meaning to myself. I went with Rolex this time as they build everything in house. Nothing is built outside the rolex factory. Not to many brands can say that. Also I've had it a couple of weeks now and it's only lost 1/2 a second. I've never had an automatic watch that was so spot on.  I have a Casio that is Solar/Atomic so I'm aware of the cheaper digi watches that can preform them

Yeah, I bought another busmaster upper just like what I had before, but in a flat top. I'm trying to sell the A1 HBAR  if you know any one that wants it.

12 post and no one mentions the booger hook on the bang switch, slackers!

I like the improvements OP, if it works for you then that's all that matters.

Yeah my finger must of touched it when I angled it to take the shot. derp. I really think it's just the way I'm holding in in the shot though. I'm not one to do that.

The Stock is DPMS, the upper and lower are Bushmaster.

No pics of the wife sorry :)

The grip is the same as the grip in the first picture. I took the bottom plate off it so it would fit better. It feels GREAT in the hands. I might find a way to have the bottom part trimmed off.

I just stuck it back on a sec ago. Looks like it can be adjusted. I'm going to try and find a grip like it that's shorter, or have this one cut shorter.  I put 100 rounds down the new upper today. Took around 5 shots to sight in the red dot. I'm going to pick up a BUIS in the morning.

A Hogue grip may be comfortable for you.

Well between Cheaper than Dirt, the Gun show and Amazon I did find a grip I liked. It's a lil thiner, but feels good on the hand. I'm still going to keep the old one around, in case I don't get used to this one. I also picked up a single point sling attachment and a sling to go with it.  The sling, forgrip and MBUS  all came from CTD.     Took it back to the range to make sure every thing was at Zero. For the first time they charged me $5 for a rifle. Time to find a different range!
