I got the stripped lower from Tom Sawyer Manufacturing (username likemopar here on AR15.com). I put an RRA LPK in it and a Vltor Clubfoot. The LPK and Stock are from Mooney's Firearms. I highly recommend Mooney's.

Stripped Lower and parts laid out in dummy-proof fashion:

One more:

I took the upper from my other KISS rifle.......it's a 16" RRA A2. Hopefully after the holidays I'll be able to slap an M4gery upper onto it and eventually top it off with an Eotech. And also add a ASP single point sling from JTrusty here on AR15.com.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my newest baby.

Thanks........and just to clarify, I'm not one of those die hard crazy Texan people, but I do love my state. I was born in Georgia and lived there until I was 15 and now I've been in Texas for 9 years. This is definately becoming my home.

Hey, doesn't matter....that would be a nice build (and a nice post) with or without the engraving.

Thanks for posting the pics!

Otherwise known as "I wasn't born in Texas but I got here as fast as I can."  Nice build, btw.

LonghornAR15,
I was born in Texas.  Left in 1983 to finish my degree.  I should NEVER have left!!!

Please email me contact information for likemopar.  Your AR convinced me that I NEED (not want) this lower.

Yeah, I was kind of worried that I might ruffle some feathers.

Don't get me wrong, I obviously love this place (even though I'm in the liberal oasis of Austin), but I'm not actively trying to make Texas it's own free country..........although that might not be so bad.

Oasis == cesspool?  Well, I live in Pflugerville.  It is still in Travis county, but not quite as full of pinkos as the city of Austin.

Yeah, I meant it's an oasis for the liberals. For me I'd consider it a cesspool. But to every man his own, right?

I'm in Leander so I kind of get the best of both worlds.  In Will Co so the criminals don't like being here and just far enough from Austin to not have to deal with the hippies but still close enough that the trip into town only takes about 30 minutes.

And for the record I'd be all over one of those receivers.  VERY nice looking...
