Just out of curiosity was the stock a cheap buy or something you had laying about?

Just seems like the lines are very simple & clean till you get back to that stock, probably my OCD kicking in again.

Good job & have fun with it.

Thats the ERGO F93 - based off the old Magpul M93 stock.  They retail for about $180ish but I have a way to get them much less.  They are an 8 position stock vs a 6 position and they lock and are VERY VERY solid - no wobble at all.  It is one of my favorite stocks out there.  Not the prettiest but def one of the sturdiest and around $100 from my guy - best buys around.

If it saved you some coin & does what it is supposed to then run with it, spend the cabbage on 55gr.
Looking forward to some range photos

Yea - I got optics on the way - been peaking out rear backups just haven't pulled the trigger on anything so to speak.  figure I'll just go the cheap route with magpul mbus or ARMS polymer - after all its only a BACKUP

I would put a Larue qd mount rear sight on it before a magpul.  For 30 or so more dollars it would be worth it.

Im currently in the planning stages of building a AR on the cheaper side.  I was wondering a ball park figure on your cost (if I can ask that)?  I like the look of yours.  Nice job.

Yo EdHaney1 - how well will that work with an aimpoint/acgo type scope?

I have less than $700 invested

I have Midwest Industries flip up front and rear iron sights. They work well with the Eotech XPS2. I figure that sight would work well with it too. I have no experience with the aimpoint/acgo. MI has quality stuff at reasonable prices. That sight is on clearance. There are others on their site.

I had to send the scope back due to one of the power levels not working - but I mounted it just for a picture :-)
