I purchased a Danial Defense M4 v5 and I finaly got to shot it today and I have some questions.

After shooting a approx. 30 rounds rapidly the gun really started to smoke.  Is this normal?

I saw a vido on UTube on how to clean the gun.  How often to you have to comlete disassemble the gun to clean?

I have a and EoTech 517 on the gun.  I am use to shooting my dear rifle which has a 3x9 scope on it.  It seems to be more accurate for me than EoTech.  Is this normal or do I just need more practice with the EoTech?

Where is this "smoke" appearing from?

If from around the hand guards, I'd think just residual oil/lubricant around the barrel.

30 rounds rapid fire and some smoke is nothing to worry about, especially with a brand new rifle.
at first, I'd get in the habit of cleaning the gun when it isn't really, really dirty. I typically clean mine after a day of shooting(4-500 rounds)
your optic is fine, but it is easier to get a more precise POA with a magnified optic so typically you'll be more accurate. Just keep practicing.

+1 Where is smoke comming from, and the eotech is not meant for super accuracy like a scope it is meant for speed. With pratice you can hit at 400 with your Eotech.

Most of the smoke was coming through the rail.

Thats pretty normal since its most likely coming through the rail from the barrel with your little rapid fire.

ETA: I dont clean my gun mutch at all besides a lil wipe down with a alchol pad. It only gets clean if I do a lot of shooting and went to the desert.

When the rail starts to heat up should you let it cool down or is it ok to keep shooting?

Also normal so just keep shooting. This is why people use rail covers and ladders so they don't have to touch a hot rail.

Check mine out. Tango Down Scar rail cover, and some ladders off Amazon.

The best part of this thread is the fact you called it your "1st AR".  Good call.
