Here's a few pics of my Bushmaster ORC.  I got it a few months ago, but took a little while to get picture ready.  Ok, so I didn't assemble it from the BCG up, but I started with a base model, no frills flat top.  Being X Mil, I'll always have a love for the OD green, as you can see.  During the few months I've had this sucker, I've put about 1,300 rounds through it, without a single malfunction (believe me I've tried).  I must say so far I'm very impressed.  Here is what I've done so far:

MagPul CTR stock
Ergo Ambi-Grip
Aim Point 3X Magnifier w/ twist detach
EOTech XPS 2-0
MI ERS Flip Up Rear Sight
MI Flip Up Front Sight
YHM Diamond Specter FF Rails
YHM Phantom C2 Flash Hider
Knights Vert Grip

The only thing left I think is trigger job, or maybe a nice drop in.  Been toying with the idea of replacing CTR with Vltor Emod, and just painting it OD.  So whatcha guys think?  Is it post worthy?
Now just have to sit back and hope for a Zombie invasion, or Revolution... Or even a Revolution with Zombies

That is a nice rifle. How do you like the yhm C2 phantom? I am considering one of those for one of my builds.

Sweet. The only thing I would change is the VFG and Pmag. It will look better with OD VFG and Pmag.

Very worthy! If you're thinking about a new trigger you can't do better than a Geissele SSA

The YHM Phantom is ok.  I wanted a flash hider and muzzle break.  The phantom is supposed to be a compromise between the two.  Didn't notice alot of muzzle break  (some), but it definitely hides flash completely.  In reply to another post, I agree about the vert grip.  I'm not crazy about it myself, but it was a gift from my bro.  I'd really like one of those stubby Tango Down grips.  The mag is actually a pmag.  At first I didn't care for the sight window, but after I used a friend's, I had to have it.

Great looking rig, and more importantly she's a great shooter. Very nice sir!

Since zombies typically come out at night, some sort of white light would be something to consider.

You might want to try cleaning up your stock trigger (I use jeweler's rouge) before you spend the coin on something else. Both of my Bushmaster triggers cleaned up very nicely with just a little bit of TLC. Just a thought anyway-I've been very happy with mine, and I'm a fussy, obsessive compulsive bastard.

Thanks for sharing the pics. Very nicely done

The EOTech 3X in an Aimpoint twist mount just seems.... wrong.

Great looking boomstick.

Nice stick. The CTR looks good on it.

Try that OD paint job. I bet it will look great.

I think ill take ur advice on the trigger.  A well respected local smith said he could bring it down to 3lbs and clean it up a bit.  I have always been pleased with his work and I'd like to keep it single stage for my type of shooting.  Thanks for pushing me in the right direction.  In response to another post.  The magnifyer and the mount are Aimpoint, which may compound the blasphemy but I got a great deal and it has been combat tested so I couldn't turn it down.

Nice rifle.  How do you like that Ergo grip?  The idea of it seems similar to my Stark - low angle for more wrist comfort and better trigger finger position.

I would recommend you picking up the Magpul RVG.  I own the VFG you currently have, and the RVG is a lot better, at about $25.

Have fun with it and be safe.

ETA:  You can put ranger plates on the Pmags instead of the mag-pul.  Here's my setup with ranger plates, Stark, RVG, Inova light (haven't used it yet), and Gear Sector light mount.

Dude your high jacking my topic, j/k.  The ranger plates look sweet.  To be honest when I got the mag loops, I thought they served the same purpose as the ranger plates.  I do like your VFG.  New from Magpul right?  The Ergo grip is awesome.  At first I felt the circumference of the grip was a bit too much, but now nothing feels as good.
