Can't go wrong with that setup - mine is identical, and I've had my rifle for a few years now.

There are a lot of people on here with EOtechs who don't take off that little caution sticker on the left side.  Is there a reason for this?  I took mine off as soon as I got it on.

I am going to take it off.  I just got the rifle today and immediately snapped the pics. I already had the mags.  The sticker will be gone shortly. :)

You are not alone, I took mine off too!  The first time I brought it to an indoor range, it was dimly lit, and that little sticker stuck out like a sore thumb, so off it went.

is there a reason you went with the larue mount for your eotech and not the stand mount the eotech comes with?

Primarily to raise it up to get a lower 1/3 co-witness.  Plus easy installation/removal.

Very nice foundation you have there!  Nice gun configuaration, nice optic, nice QD optic riser.

Only thing I would add would be a light, but only if this will be a home defense gun.  Otherwise,  it's perfect.

Some folk(myself included) like the co-witness in the low-low 3rd of the glass.  It gives a large open area in the top 2/3rds of the glass.  Its just an open veiw of your target and reticle above the front sight tower.

It's also kinda nice to have the QD function a LaRue provides.  I personally dont have the money$ for another AR, set up for longer range/magnified fun.  So with a few bucks spent on some LaRue risers, I can snap on a 3-9x and have some slow shooting fun if I feel so inclined.

Nice carbine! Quality accessories too.  The LaRue Eotech Mount made a huge difference for me with my Eotech. What kind of sling are you going to use?

Thanks!!  I'm thinking of going with this sling:

VICKERS COMBAT APPLICATIONS SLING

I'm also thinking of switching to the MIAD grip as this grip just feels too small in my hand.

I haven't even shot it yet and I feel like I've already got BRD.   What have I gotten myself into?!?!?
