Thanks. Took it off when I mounted the scope. Havent gotten around to putting it back on (if it fits).

Beautiful rifle. DPMS makes some of the best AR-15s around.....you have to get a new trigger for them though. I got brand new LR-308 last week and have not shot it yet. Shot my DPMS light 16 today at range.

Yea, I got to shoot it. I posted about that....had a lot of FTF and FTE. I was using Remington UMC. Tried a couple different mags and same results. Put 20 rounds of PMC through it and it functioned fine. Hoping to go this week with some more PMC to see if it is truely just the ammo.

I have a 6500 on my .308 precision rifle. It is a fantastic scope! Good choice.

nice looking rifle simple and sleek, similar to what i want to build. I don't like a bunch of stuff on my weapons only whats needed.

Try some hornady v-max 55 or black hills 52smk ammo in it.

I've used it in my 16" stainless bull dpms upper with good results.

Interesting... The flutes and crown look like a GM barrel. Does anyone know if DPMS get their bull barrels from GM?

GM makes great barrels btw

They are currently making barrels for the US military
