I have always been a gun enthusiasts. However, when you grow up in an urban city, there is very little chance to "legally" experience firearms. After Graduating from college and moving away from my urban roots and taking Hunter's and Gun Safety, I purchased my first gun. Since that time I have purchased several other firearms mostly for hunting.
4 years ago a friend introduced me to the world of AR-15. I immediately begin researching as much as I could about them. Of course with the positive research you also encounter the negative. After reading and reading. I finally decided that building one would be an awesome experience. It was so exciting to research the different components, and each time a new box arrived it was like Christmas. So after 2 years of research, purchases,  and working with a gunsmith. I completed my first build.

Components:
Palmetto State Armory - complete upper and striped lower.
Anderson Rifle - bolt carrier group, buffer kit, and lower parts kit.
MAG Tactical - triton black muzzle brake.
Vltor Weapon System - clamp on front sight tower.
Tactical Dynamics LLC - skeletonized pistol grip.
The Mako Group - m4/ar-15 survival buttstock.
Fortis Manufacuting - rev free float rail and foregrip.
Geissele Automatics - super dynamic 3 gun trigger.
MAS Defense - 16" wylde 1/8 spiral fluted barrel.
Magpul - rear flip up sight.

Alot of work went into the finished product. It fuctions well. Planning puchasing a scope and really sighting it in. This was by far the most enlightening experience I have had I learned so much and have new found respect for firearms and firearm manufacturers. Of like most of you this is the first of many builds.

Comments are greatly appreciated.

That thing's gnarly looking! Congrats and welcome aboard, OP!

ETA: You should move your optic back so the mount isn't bridging your upper and rail like that. Just put it as far forward on the upper as possible and see how that works for ya. Should be a bit more solid that way and make it to where you're not having to be on top of the gun so much when shooting.

I think it looks canted.

OP: Nice looking build! The grip and VFG give it a crazy different skeletonized look. Pretty cool
