| I like the stock but it is difficult to remove/install in my view. It came with plastic dummy cartridges that are supposed to be used to release the latch but it isn't as easy as I would have expected from MAGPUL. I had planned on a CTR but these came out just as I was ready to order a stock and I thought that it combined some of the desirable features of a VLTOR stock with Magpul engineering prowess. It doesn't completely lock down tight as I had expected but it'll do. If I were to buy a replacement right this minute I would probably go back to my orginal idea and get a CTR for about 1/3 less. Personnally I like the simpler lines of the CTR better as well. I have a MOE stock as well that I bought for another rifle and it is pretty darn good for less than 1/2 the cost of the ACS. |
