I am sure this has been shown or done before, but I just got into posting pictures and really like it.

A .308 PMag that I cut down to make it shorter for bench shooting, hold 11 rounds

Awesome.  Can you show some pics of the modified mag with the baseplate removed?

To make the magazine stay together after the mod, I had to glue it with JB Weld.  I see that one person is using a fastner to hold together, the only issue is the tang or webb at the bottom of the mag is real thin and I was afraid to use a fastner or screw to hold the floor plate on.  I have been thinking of designing a stiffner or something to add to the bottom so fastners can be added facilitating disassembly, but have not gotten that far yet.  So the magazine cannot be disassembled once it has been modified.   That is OK, as the springs in a Magpul are real good.  Speaking of the spring, I had to remove four coils to make it fit and function.

I am planning to modify another one, this time, taking pictures of each step and post.  Will do this in a few weeks.  I do this mostly for fun, as I enjoy working with my hands.
