My Grendel that is.
This ones pretty special in that I built the lower and the upper. Had a little issue getting it to run until I replaced the buffer with a heavier one Now it goes boom everytime I pull the trigger. Sorry, but had to brag a little. Lower has an Emod stock and Timney Trigger in it. The upper receiver is an AA side bolt, plugged into that is a Satern 18" barrel, YHM Diamond free float tube, YHM flip up gas block, and a Smith Vortex flash hider. Glass is a Nikon Monarch 4x12. Grendel ammo is now available almost everywhere. AA has a bunch, Midwayusa, and hell, even Cabelas is stocking the new Hornady load. I think it's retail only, haven't looked on the internet for it at Cabelas. And the Hornady brass is great, available, and reasonably priced. |

Spikes T1-2T or something like that got a positive 3:00, 90 degree ejection in the 6 - 8 foot range. Just needed to slow the power stroke down a little. Before on the forward stroke, the bolt carrier was catching the empty throwing it forward, or pinning it into a stovepipe. |
