I have been wanting to build a complete FDE rifle for awhile. After deciding on parts and waiting for them to show I finally got it together.

Build has the following parts-

WOA 18" SPR barrel
Mega upper
Spikes Lower
YM BCG
Centurion rail
Magpul UBR stock

I used a barrel dimpler from Rainier Arms to get the Vltor gas block in the right position-

Cerakoted everything in FDE-

The rifle starting to go together-

LPK-

Lower going together-

Reassembling the upper-

Finished product-

Ill be installing a Viper Vortex PST 2.5-10 in a Larue mount when they show up.

Good Job!!! I really like the full on FDE w/ the blk accents left by the lower parts. I just built a Dissy in FDE and its badass. I bet you like that UBR, I LOVE mine!

Can you post a tutorial on ceracaoting?  Your rifle came out great.

Did you Ceracoat the rifle yourself? If so, it came out great.

I did most of it myself with alot of help from one of my friends. This is my third rifle to cerakote and I feel like im getting better at it.

I finally got this rifle finished. I had a difficult time deciding on what optic and I ended up installing a Leupold Mark 4 2.5-8. Naturaaly I took the time to Cerakote the scope and Larue LT104 to match the rifle.

Here's some pictures of the finished product-

That is a beautiful thing. I also would like you to post your Cerakote methods too.

I use the air dry Cerakote and an airbrush. I learned a trick from the guy that showed me how to Cerakote, after getting the Cerakote applied I leave them in a hot box(a box I built with 100 watt light bulbs iinside). The box temperature gets to 130 degrees and I leave the parts in there for 12 hours. I'm sure it's not as durable  as the baking method but I haven't had any damage or scratches to the Cerakote using this method. I'll try to do a picture tutorial one day, it's hard to take pictures and do all the necessary steps at the same time.
