Rock River Arms 20" A2

I haven't shot it yet but hope to this weekend.

The others are a Glock 21 with an M-3 Tactical Illuminator, a Glock 19 and a Remington 870 Police Magnum.

Congrats! You love your first AR. Be prepared to go without eating or paying rent, by working towards your next AR purchase. You'll get addicted. [:D]

Nice set up....have you seen the adapter that goes on the 870 to allow you to put any folding stock and or grip from an any AR?  Its on the cover of the latest dillon press magazine and on page 57.

Congrats. Now prepare to monkey down with the sickness. I see you already have a USGI 30 rounder at the ready. By the way, you aren't done...there will be more and you are powerless against desire.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

I know they are addicting, I haven't even had mine for 24 hours and I am already running down a list of things I want to do to it!

Damn successful advertising! :D

If you don't mind my asking, whats a standard Rockriver A2 20" like yours going for new these days?

I paid $240.00 for the complete lower receiver shipped and transferred.

I paid $394.00 for the complete upper shipped.

That comes out to $634.00 including shipping and the local FFL transfer.

What will be the best way for me to conduct a range report?

I know I am going to have to zero the gun. Right now, I only have access to a 100 yard range so I may zero it for 100 yards until I join a club with a longer range in March.

I want to make the range report as informative as possible and you guys know way more about this stuff than me so help me out.

Thanks.

She's beautiful, I wouldn't do a darn thing to her.

Everybody who has AR's needs just a plain old 20" with A2 sights and a sling, and that's all.

That's classic beauty and function, like a 67' Vette or a 58' T-Bird.

If you want to fiddle with something get a CQB size weapon next.

JMHO
YMMV

A 20 inch is on my list for the next one, maybe a RR.  Here I go again, first it was 03's, then M1's, now AR's! (I need another safe)

What sling should I put on it?

I am sure many will disagree with me, but I prefer a standard military sling.  Period.

Carry it muzzle down on your off shoulder.  Very fast to bring up and on target.
