OK, the A2 poll thread was locked prior to my very recent self-reflections.
I was, and still am, a hard ass re the topic. But, here's my bottom line... I apologize if any took it personally. Ya'll are cherished for your passion and knowledge! If we ever gather at a gun shoot or local waterin' hole, ya might be embarrassed by my show of affection for each and every one of ya'll... that's not countin' the first and last 'rounds' are on my dime! Here's to the 'retro' future...

, but it just goes to show that the A2 has some historical significance and is coming into its own. We are, in fact, right in the middle of history in the making.
Hey, as heated as it got, it's a LONG way from the crap I've seen in GD, which is why I never go there. This is a GREAT forum, but I think it's grown enough that it needs to become a SECTION. It says a lot about you and about this forum that you even feel the need to apologize - just friends having a disagreement. No biggy, but thanks for saying that - I know I was verging on getting out of line myself and hope no one was offended. Now go vote in my poll!

WHERE do you think the A2 forum should go? That's what I'm saying. The Retro 'forum' should become the Retro 'section' with several forums under that. I just think it'd be nice to keep A2's under the 'same roof' so to speak. It would not change this forum at all. |

I really got to thinkin' 'bout the fervor the other thread was generating. Then I go, whoa, these are the folk that share the same 'luv' I have for da M16 genre. So, regardless where A2s go or don't (not like the 'baloney' isn't sliced thin enough here for another slice), we're all retroheads!
