I woulda went with the BCM bolt carrier too, but sweet rifle. You just need to add a BUIS set to make it complete!

IMO that barrel seems really long since there isn't a front sight...

I would have gone w/ a MUR and a 12" rail, but to each their own.

Yes, new to this forum. I was looking at getting a nitride coated carrier and dpms is pretty much the only man. I would really like something like POF makes, np3 coated, w/o the gas piston...

I think if i put something on the lower rail the barrel might not appear as long. Does anyone have experience with the Magpul angled fore grip?

It's just that minimalist gas block that makes it look so long. I kinda like it. If you just HAVE to do something about it though I would recommend a longer rail. You'd be all the rage then.

looks good, couple questions, 1) Did you leave the 5c2 purposely detuned? 2) why did you choose 1:9 over 1:7 for the same price?

I just screwed it on for the picture, I have since timed or tuned it. It was a very hard decision actually, truthfully I went with the 1:9 because I could shoot cheaper ammo if I needed to...
