[ARCHIVED THREAD] - My first AR

Just bought my first ever AR and it's an Dimondback DB15 and I also got the Burris 332 prism sight with ATI scorpion pistal grim along with and Mako mag well grip. I work away from home so I have yet to get home to put it together to show pictures but I just wanted to know everyone's take on my set up for a beginner.

BTW, there's nothing wrong with the 1:9 twist. I'm telling you this because you'll be thinking that you need 1:7 if you keep hanging out here.

I agree. Google AR Kabooms and you'll soon understand why a magwell grip may not be in your best interest.
