Planning to build by first AR. Upper will be FailZero EXO Receiver & Bolt Matte Black Lower Centurion Tactical Matte Black Trigger Geissele Super Dynamic Trigger 3-Gun Saftey Battle Arms Dev AMBIDEXTROUS SAFETY SELECTOR Barrel Lothar Walther 18" Heavy Barrel Stainless Stock Magpul UBR FDE BCM Gunfighter Large Handle GasBlock Badger Ordnance Ultra Low Stainless 0,875" Handguard - Troy 13" TRX Extreme Battle Rail – FDE (Flat Dark Earth) Grip Magpul MIAD FDE Scope: Burris XTR 1-4 Since it will be a Rifle Lenght Gas system will the 13" TRX rail fit with the gasblock? How long gas tube should i buy (16")? Thanks. |
Wow....that's a really good list you've got there That's going to be a nice rifle. If its a rifle length gas system, you just buy a rifle length gas tube. pretty much all company's have them labeled as––-Rifle, Mid and Carbine length instead of in inches......so there is less confusion about which one to buy

| if i can add my input i would strongly suggest a different gas block. I just got done with a similar build using that rail and that gas block and it will not work without the rail contacting the gas block. I had to file the bottom of the gas block pretty heavily to get it to where there was enough space between the bottom of the gas block and the rail. With the trx extreme you pretty much have to have a setscrew gas block. Clamp style are just to big. My buddy just got the same rail and the yhm clamp gas block.... same problem as me. just my .02 |

| That would be a pretty good option because of how low profile it is. I think that any real low profile gas block would work though. It's REALLY tight in there and I dont even have a bull barrel. If I flex my barrel I can still get the gas block to hit. I'm not realy comfortable with it and might end up pulling the gas block out and putting a set screw one in. Time will tell if it contacts the rail when firing and screws with my accuracy. |
