Finally got around to collecting parts and assembling my first AR! This one's a "cheapie", and I know I'm going to be assembling more in the future. I just wanted a basic - no frills weapon to blast water bottles and milk jugs with....and something my Wife could handle.
What I have is one of PSA's, PTAC complete Uppers (black Friday deal) on an Aero Precision Lower, Spikes LPK, UTG (commercial) Buffer Tube & Stock kit, Cardinal Forge A3 Handle & RR Sight, Leaper's el' cheapo 4x20 scope, freebie repro butt pad, D&H 10 rnd Mag (easier to change under the pod), and an old bolt on bipod I had laying around.......also have a few 30 rnd Pmags for blasting. All told, including horse trading, I have less than $400 in it the way she sits. Hopefully, I'll get some range time this weekend to see how it shoots. http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc277/jealousy_sunless/120813_007_zps11f73c80.jpg http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc277/jealousy_sunless/120813_010_zpsb9217172.jpg http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc277/jealousy_sunless/120813_011_zpsd512124f.jpg http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc277/jealousy_sunless/120813_008_zps4ba6804d.jpg http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc277/jealousy_sunless/120813_006_zpsa5a979ef.jpg Matt |

Sweet carbine. That scope mount looks suspect though. Is your scope looking upwards? It does look funny in the pics............had to grab my level and double check, the scope is level with the barrel, go figure. Crazy optical illusion
Thanks for the welcome Guys. Matt |

Will do......havn't fired it yet, but happy with fit & finish. Upper & lower are tight with no wiggle. Hand guards same. Bolt racks smooth, gas key staked, etc. Evidence of being test-fired on the bolt-head. Hopefully, I'll have a range report some time this weekend.
