[ARCHIVED THREAD] - My first build

I put my first one together today. 16" kit from Del-ton on a Stag lower. Ordered the kit Mon. afternoon and it was delivered today (Wed.) about lunch time. Thanks Tony for the great service. Everything went together nicely. Can't wait to try it out this weekend. Any suggestions on barrel break in? It is chrome lined. Jdman

Just go shoot the crap out of it. Chrome lined barrels need to be polished,the Bushmaster website says put 200 rounds through it before cleaning the barrel. I am about to order the same setup,as soon as i have cash to order the kit.

Just shoot it a lot. Minimum of 600 rounds without FTF.

Don't forget to take pictures and post it here later on.
