Just thought i would start by thanking all off you guys in this forum and the admins for doing sucha a great job with it. Thanks again for making this possible.

One thing i noticed was that i had some powder resedue on the charging handle right where the bolt key sits, wondering if the gas too not long enough and some of the gas is coming out. I didnt take any pics, but i will this weekend as i will try it at 200 and 300 yard make ans see how i do. |

Pics would help, but carbon build-up is fairly normal, for multiple reasons - starting with you're shooting it. How much you shot and ammo quality comes into play - some are just dirtier than others and EVERYBODY has an opinion. If tube / key were not mating correctly it likely would not cycle correctly. Wouldn't sweat it - check inside bolt carrier and bolt behind gas rings - carbon likes to stick in those places. May be carbon on / around gas block too. Clean / lube her all up and stash until next time. Nice boom stick, like the FZ upper. |

Thanks guys,
The upper is a R-gun EXO coated DPMS lower, JP triger springs 20" chromed lines ER Shawn extra heavy berrel, and that i can tell you it is extra heavy from Model 1 PRI Muzzle brake Spikes EXO Coated bcg Magpul butstok JP free float handguard Osprey, scope I used brand black hill ammo and did not have any issues, will put in a call with the suplier and see what i might say about it. I dont have the same issue with my other ar 15. I hope is not a major deal, every thing seems to work fine. It shoots really nice, i can actually see the bullet hitting the target at 100yrds recoil is almost non-existant. It took me about 5 tries to zero it in, and i put about 15 dead center on two targets. I have it about 1" high at 100 which is a piece of cake with this scope tomorrow if i have time i might try it at 200 and 300 yards. |

I end up buying mine at the gun range where i am a member sinci i get a discount and they had a good price on them end up paying 210, i have seen one gun broker going for 190 plus shipping which will put you at 200. JUst need to look for a good deal.
I am surpised that there are not more group buys in here. |
