Just finished my first lower build. I launched my take-down spring twice, found it easily both times.
I also shot my Pivot pin detent and looked for it for almost an hour. Finally found it right under my feet. CTR stock kit from DSG Arms Palmetto State Classic LPK Palmetto State Gadsden Lower Noveske end plate and QD Magpul B. A. D. lever Magpul Trigger Guard Magpul MOE+ rubberized grip (I love this grip!) The trigger is WAY grittier than my Colt's trigger, I'm going to Ace Hardware for a 1/4-28 set screw. I'll probably get the ALG ACT trigger. I cleaned the oil off the trigger and sear engagement points and put some Flitz on them, pulled the trigger about 30 times, cleaned the Flitz off and oiled everything up and the grit is gone. |
