Hello Gents.
As my first post I wanted to show you all my baby.  I see you all with your wonderfully clean weapons...I ASSURE you my baby was ALLWAYS clean on the inside. :)

I'm in Germany for the next couple of years but I've started building my own little AR collection starting today.  Using the money I gave him my dad went out and got me my first personally owned M-4.  A Bushmaster m-4 type with A3 upper.  Seems like most people have been pretty happy with it.

My weapon here has a MARS sight.  It currently has a CCO but I'm looking to get a MARS back.

And a bonus shot....

Thanks!

Welcome to the board, and don't worry, not all of us have weapons that look unused.

On a side note, you may want to color out your name tape.  There are people who troll around and may try to use it against you if they don't like you later on.

Welcome aboard Spec....yep, edit your nametape and face in order to avoid future "issues."  There's alot of ass-hatery going on around here.

Welcome! Thank you for your service.

If we all had to clean sand out of our weapons everyday i'm sure most would look worse than that.

A big Texas Howdy, and a hardy thanks for your part in protecting my bunch.

And that rifle is a work of art.

The khacki jump suits are flame retardent, I'm told.  Some people liked em some didnt.  I wore em about 30% of the time.  I thought they didn't look as good.  I mean, its all about looking cool, right? haha

Oh My God! There is almost no finish on your brass deflector! Why didn't you tape a little piece of felt on it!

Cool pictures.

OMG, I didn't even see the bare metal ... the aluminum termites will eat their way in there and chew their way back out at the destruction points that LaRue mounts leave.

Enough with the kidding around and no fooling ... I stand in awe of you guys and I am honestly uncomfortable standing on American soil that has been fought for and won by guys like you.

I raise my glass to all of you.

Hear ! Hear !

haha thanks gents...I'll let the guys know they need to do more to protect the nice black finish on our weapons!  I heard we were getting a couple hundred brand new M4s in.

Wow, You from the area? I miss it.  I'm from Rockford but spent 5 years in DeKalb + a year in Naperville post school.   I can't wait to come home for a couple weeks in june/july.  My dad just got a membership with the Northern Illinois Rifle and Pistol club.  VERY excited.  I wonder how many rounds I can put down range in two weeks...

cheers
