Just got my Spike's Tactical lower, with the stock trigger group. I don't have a gauge, but it feels like 10 lbs. Is there a way to lighten it up without buying a replacement trigger group? Do you recommend bending the hammer spring, or replacing it? I thought about this spring kit: is it any good?

Ever through of just pulling the FCG parts and trying the parts on the pins by themselves.  Could be burs on the side of the trigger channel causing undue friction as the parts try to turn on the pin.   Also, could be some crap in the trigger or hammer pin channel, that needs to be flushed out as well, and further on this subject, could be that the parts where not lubed before being installed as well/

If if you are going to send the FCG out to be wrenched on, you still need to pull it in the first place, so give the above a try.

To pull the FCG,
