Welcome aboard!  As a friendly reminder, all CAPS is considered yelling  I can offer personal experience only with Model 1 Sales.  I bought a complete upper and their lower parts kit to put in a spare DPMS lower.  I was looking for inexpensive myself.  Including the $100 lower I only have $685 in the whole rifle, and that includes a 6-pos stock and a detachable carry handle.  Its a fine weapon and it only has one problem; the detent on the selector isn't perfect as it doesn't 'click in' when I select safe the way it does when I select fire.  When I'm bored I'll pull out the selector and look at it and see if I can remedy it myself.  If not I'll call Model 1 and ask them for a new part.  True be told, I have as much fun shooting my $600 'beater' rifle as I do my $2600 tacticool rifle, with all it's top of the line mfgr's, parts, etc.
