Samson has done it again. Just when you think every possible rail configuration has been done, he comes up with a new one. Pics first, comments after. The all new M-EX $320 MAP ![]() And the M-EX-EBR! $330 MAP ![]() ![]() This newest Samson creation takes the very popular CX and CX-EBR to a mid-length size. The additional rail space allows you more room for a bi-pod, lights and lasers. As always, this two piece design allows you to mount this system without removal of the FSB. However, the M-EX-EBR will need you to mill the bottom of the FSB enough to clear the bottom rail. (hit the link at the bottom for a pic of a milled FSB) Talon Arms will have complete uppers available with these rails mounted. Upper will be the flat top, T-marked Sabre w/ chrome lined 1/7 mid-length barrels with M4 extensions. You can start drooling anytime... As always email us at [email protected] for questions. MRFS-M-EX-EBR 18 oz MRFS-M-EX 16.3 oz Since you guys brought it up, I will compare a few diferences to the DD rail: MRFS has picatinny mil-spec rails on all four sides MRFS is two piece and installs without barrel disassembly MRFS has a bridge in front of the FSB to increase overall strength. MRFS has a continuous top rail to the upper receiver. MRFS has laser engraved numbers on the rails slots. MRFS costs less. The only advantage I see for the DD rail is less weight. I believe the MRFS more than makes up for a few extra oz.s with a superior design. |
