For those that are purists, There is a NFA class 3 601 available on the board that starts with sub and ends with.com and has a gun in the middle.   Wish I had an extra $26K laying around

I hope he posts a lot more photos.  From the little that's there, it's hard to tell how much of the original rifle is still present.
Might be a good restoration project for someone.

Wow. That's more than my Camaro. I'd need a lot more disposable income.

I would need to see way more than he is showing before I would even consider it.

Do you really need a Camaro? A full auto rifle would be infinitely more useful.

Depends on what the laws do in the future, I know the Camaro is going to continue to rise in collectors value, if the laws change, the price of a machine gun, could go into the tank!

Only 3 pictures offered that basically show jack squat?

I take better pictures to sell a $26 item, let alone twenty six thousand

Notice the the mag release button and the bolt release are not early 601 type. All i could pick on with the limited amount of pictures.

Selector, mag button, bolt release, charging handle and stock are wrong. Trigger looks dark in color as well.

I'm sure if you can afford it you can afford the correct parts off eBay or GB.

That's not really a bad price for a model that doesn't come up for sale very often.  It is basically the same price as a regular transferable M16A1 which are definitely more common to find.  The rifle definitely has some incorrect parts but the part that "really" matters looks pretty good.  Regardless of what may or most likely not change in the future a real 601 will always be rare and valuable.

Agree, this is really about the receiver in the end. Everything else can be assembled around it with time and money...
