When did magazines stamped with NHMTG first come on the market?

I know that NHMTG magazines have cage code 33710, the same as OKAY.  OKAY magazines have been around for a long time and have been sold under other names such as Colt and UI (Universal Industries), but when did the first NHMTG marked magazines appear?

Does OKAY make NHMTG magazines, or did the company name change (but not the cage code)?

Thanks for your help.

Fact: Okay Industries is still Okay Industries and makes NHMTG mags.

Speculation
:
From what I gather:
NHMTG goes back to @ 2004 - after the ban ended (based on when the ads started showing up in Shotgun News)

A company called New Helvetia Trading Group in California was - as far as I can tell- one of the companies that originally distributed them, and (according to something I recall reading here) has some sort of vague tie to Okay Industries.

Whether NHMTG is an actual part of Okay, or if it's a seperate company that contracts with them is unknown (by me at least)

Ronald Stillwell is the president of NHMTG and my understanding is that he used to work for Okay in some capacity in the past.  I believe he also owns, co-owns, or has some stake in Ronan, which you will sometimes see NHMTG mags also called or advertised as.

The gist of the story I got years ago was that there may have been some real or perceived issues with selling Okay branded mags to "non-retail" channels, so Ronan and NHMTG were used to facilitate "retail/civilian" sales.  For those that remember about 6 years ago or so, Midway had a big blowout on Ronan brand 1911 mags for about $4 each and bulk packs of 10/20/50 for as low as $2-3 each.  Those were believed to also be Okay manufactured mags and the price was unreal for a quality 1911 mag like that.

The name "New Helvetia" rings a bell with me.

There's an interesting gun shop in downtown Sacramento that, back in 1974 when I was stationed there, had four different business names on the door.  One of those names was "New Helvetia" something or another.

The retail gun store operation used the name "Old Sacramento Armoury."  Click here for their web site.

I do remember that back in the day, the workers used to answer the phone by repeating the phone number.  No name, just the 7 digit number.

FWIW; AFAIK; IMHO; YMMV; yadda, yadda, yadda.

Bobby Bowden is doing a fine job - just leave him alone.

Albert says, "Click here for free Gator wallpaper."

FWIW, I found a press release on the internet from a couple of years ago about NHMTG getting a government contract for M16 mags.
My NHMTG mags have that dry film finish that scratches just from looking at it, but they work fine.

I know you qualified your post with "speculation" which is good because NHMTGs were flowing during the ban.  I have some ban era NHMTGs at the house.  I can't remember what year during the ban I started seeing them however.

No link, but I found the site after Googling "NHMTG"
I seem to remember it was not the first link on the list, more like second or third page.
Sorry I can't help more.
