Are NM Front Sight Posts compatable with the Standard A2 Front Sight Housing?

Yes. Most NM post use the std A2 tool for adjustments.

The only thing different about the "NM" front sight post is that the post itself is narrower.

Sorry, let me rephrase the query.

Is the threading on the bottom of a NM sight post compatible with the Standard A2 Sight Housing threads? Will the threads get stripped?

Yes, identical threading; they will work fine. There is only one standard thread for AR front sight posts.
