Alright, I understand the tritium in ACOG will be luminous for "up to 15 years."  At least thats what I've seen on some sites.

My question is - what then?  Are there any plans/ways to replace the tritium?

I didn't feel like starting another thread, so I'll add some noob questions of my own:

Will a 3x ACOG be O.K. for close range?

What's this I hear about the point of impact and point of aim shifting due to the BAC?

If I use it in the dark with a weaponlight, will the reticle turn black and will I lose the BAC function?  If so, why?

IIRC, having the tritium lamp replaced is about $200.

I have the 4X TA01NSN. It shoots when and where I point it. I have no issues with it whatsoever. Yes I do hit what I aim at.

I answered all these the first time you asked.  2X, 3X, 4X has no bearing on close range use of an ACOG when using BAC it becomes an OEG.

Click the My Topics tab at the top left of your screen to review your old threads.

It is considered bad etiquite to hijack someone else's thread just because you "didn't feel like starting another thread."

To answer the OP's question you can send the unit back into Trijicon for a new tritium lamp.  It is not cheap.
