Not a recce gun and looks like a colt cqbr with a PEQ2A. Unique gun. I have my colt 6945 set up similarly but with a rotex V, thought I have the III to slap on there lol

Looking to start one of these builds, but I haven't been able to track down the 15.1" Lija barrel. In the mean time, if I send off a regular 16" barrel to adco and have Steve cut it down to 15.1" that should suffice, correct? I have the Kac mk12 handguard and an aem5.

Do I have anything to be concerned about fitment with the suppressor and handguard? Ideally I would like as close to a fit as possible.

Thanks

A chopped factory 16" barrel (or 17" based on how Lilja measures it) is what the Recce originally used, so it would be even more correct than the factory 15.1" barrels, which are just more convenient for most people. Fitment should be fine, Adco is pretty good at what they do and they should be able to cut it exactly right

In regards to the LVAW can, is this info posted a couple years ago incorrect?

Yes because that is not an SDN6 but the AAC LVAW. And I'm pretty sure the rifle is just empty and not malfunctioning

but the rifle itself isn't anything special outside the barrel that has the tapered shoulder and thread pitch for the AAC LVAW can. For that particular one, rest of the rifle is just a 12.5" AAC MPW.

I do the same thing cause I have an AEM5 just sitting in a box. Tough decision but the easiest is definitely the Mod H.
