I built an LR-308 and am now having issues with it. Afternoon first build it and took it out I had now issues. Was a few month gap in between sighting it in and now. About the build it is an Aero(m5) upper and lower, Faxxon 20” match barrel, Toolcraft DLC bcg, Superlative adjustable gas block and an Armaspec silent capture spring for .308. Like I stated it ran fine a few months ago and now it will not cycle a round. It manually functions fine with no ammo in it. Once I load a round it seems to take alittle force to remove the live round and you can see scratch lines. So out at the range it will shoot the round and not eject and load the next round. We watched the bcg and it barely moves back and the spent round is a pain in the arse to get it out. Any ideas? Once again it ran fine a few months ago. I’ve put a clear tube on the gas tube and can blow air thru it no issue, I’ve tried different ammo( 3 kinds), lubed the hell out of it, tried the original spring and buffer weight. I can drop the bcg in and pull it out easy by hand. Thanks |

| I would double check the gas tube anyway, post #18 shows the correct length for a .308 rifle gas. If yours doesn't look similar to the first picture, it's too short. https://www.ar15.com/forums/AR-15/Correct-gas-tube-length-for-DPMS-308-AR10-/121-743601/ |
