Looking for a minimalist secure storage option for under bed or in closet for a pcc with 8" barrel. Would be ok if it held a couple guns but not necessary. Priority on easy access, smallish footprint and cost |

I have my PCC (10" barrel + suppressor) in one of these: Hornady in wall Snap Safe (tall one), and have room for a shelf above the PCC. It's a 4 key combo pad to access, or a key. I like that with it mounted in the wall it's not convenient to just steal the safe. It comes with hooks to make it convenient to hang something over it for concealment. |
| I looked at the Hornady tall in-wall Snap safe and was sold. Just one tiny problem that killed the deal. Where I wanted to put it, I could not find any space between studs that did not have electrical or plumbing pipes in them. Triple check that where you might want to put it has free space between the studs devoid of wires or pipes. |

Long ago and far away, we used to have a dresser with a mirror on the back. I don't know what happened to the mirror, broken probably. The dresser still had the brackets on the back. I built a couple of hooks to sit in the brackets. I padded the hooks and set my shotgun on those hooks. The dresser was only about an extra inch from the wall. No one knew the gun was there and I had easy access. |
