Where's a good place to buy a scope for a 308 with a drop compensator?
Any good surplus military online stores?

One option would be a burris 2x7 handgun scope on a forward rail. On the 6 mag setting, the BDC is pretty much spot on for .308.

BDC reticle or BDC cam? What sort of mag? Fixed or variable? Price range?

Looking for BDC reticle with about x18 power variable. I would like to spend $200 if possable.

Springfield Armory Scope
4.5 x 14 x 56mm scope
Scope is calibrated for 308
Check around on Ebay.

I have read where people here are not too fond of this scope. I have one on my AR-10 and love it. Very accurate and good in low light areas.

BDC reticle will only work if scope's FFP.
Sprinfield's are FFP, but only work when they are working (a few people have had good ones)
