Today I got my local gun smith to install a couple of items for me on my new ar. This gas block and these sights. I went directly from there to the range to sight them in. I also have the eotech 512 installed. This is a new rifle so i have yet to sight it in. So i park my truck about 50 yards away and prop on the back of my truck and take three shots. Missed all three but noticed i was shooting way right. So i turned the windage adjustment left 4 clicks. I proceeded to do this until i could no longer adjust the windage. I was still shooting right about 6 inches. So i got about 20 yards from the target and was still shooting right. So my question is am i doing something wrong? Or could the gas block be throwing the front sight off? Here is a pic of my new setup. Any help will be greatly appreciated. http://imgur.com/U9N0G

Did you get it to zero using the EoTech only? If you did, where is/was the front sight post in relationship to the EoTech's red center dot? Maybe the the gas block is not centered exactly on the barrel, which would be an easy fix if it isn't. Can you 'eyeball' it looking down the barrel to see if the gas block is not concentric to the bore?

Your right. Looking down the barrel the gas block isn't centered at all. Slightly to the right. Can you instruct me on how to fix this? Or should i take it back to gun smith?
