Hello all,
I need help finding a M4 profile barrel. I am looking for a 16", chrome lined barrel chambered in 5.56mm, with sights. I am wanting either a 1:9 or 1:7 twist and NO M4 FEED RAMPS. I am finally building up two flattop uppers I have had for a couple years now and neither has the M4 ramps. I considered replacing them both but they are both matched to lowers I bought at the same time. I would also consider other barrels that are similar to this such as mid-length, non-chrome etc.. Your receivers would work with M4 ramps, I have a similar set up and I've never had a feed issue. I have been trying to hold out for a 16" barrel without M4 ramps, regardless of the profile on the barrel. I would prefer the M4 profile but not that set on it. I am more about function than looks. I am trying to stay away from HBAR barrels due to weight. I have considered just using M4 barrels with the non-m4 cut uppers since it is an ok setup, but not great. I figured I would see if anyone knows of a source for non-M4 barrels first. Glad to know someone else is using that combination though. |
