Hello all,

I need help finding a M4 profile barrel.  I am looking for a 16", chrome lined barrel chambered in 5.56mm, with sights.  I am wanting either a 1:9 or 1:7 twist and NO M4 FEED RAMPS.

I am finally building up two flattop uppers I have had for a couple years now and neither has the M4 ramps.  I considered replacing them both but they are both matched to lowers I bought at the same time.  I would also consider other barrels that are similar to this such as mid-length, non-chrome etc..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With sights please.  I updated my original post to include this detail.  Thanks!

If your going to build it your self Id say you cant beat the Sportmans Guide barrel for 99 bucks and the ESS barrel for 80 bucks even with sights you spend less than 160 bucks .... Id look at those...

PK has a few M4 barrels in stock. They all have M4 ramps. I know that you don't want them, but it might be hard to find an M4 barrel without M4 ramps.

Your receivers would work with M4 ramps, I have a similar set up and I've never had a feed issue.

I have been trying to hold out for a 16" barrel without M4 ramps, regardless of the profile on the barrel.  I would prefer the M4 profile but not that set on it.  I am more about function than looks.  I am trying to stay away from HBAR barrels due to weight.  I have considered just using M4 barrels with the non-m4 cut uppers since it is an ok setup, but not great.  I figured I would see if anyone knows of a source for non-M4 barrels first.  Glad to know someone else is using that combination though.

ADCO has RRA LW R4 barrels for $225.  CL 1/9.  I don't *think* they have the m4 cuts.  You'd have to call them to be sure.  Stag has them for $260 iirc.
