I could use help in Identifying a barrel, it's a military profile barrel, the markings are FNMI MP 5.56 Nato 1/7 Who is the manufacture? What would it be right on? My guess is an A2 or a late A1. Need your help.

The manufacturer is FNMI (FN Manufacturing, Inc.).
This is the standard barrel that first appeared on the M16A2, and is currently used for the M16A3 and M16A4. Barrels like that are still being made today. It would not be correct on any retro rifle.
