Larue Tactical

Viking Tactics

The Larue is the Most Expensive at about $300 and the V-Tac is the cheapest at about $150.

It is for a .308 18" SASS setup.  I like that the V-Tac is lightest too.  I will only be mounting a bipod, nothing more.
This isn't about schwag.   This is about the product. Troy won't tell me if they are making an ultimate battle rail in .308.

Larue will not fit a DPMS 308, only AR10

Your third picture is of a Customizable Yankee Hill handguard sold by Fulton Armory. Of which I have on a Fulton Upper and is nice for the price.

No experience with either V-tac or Troy, although you seldom hear a complaint on either.

Also check out PRI (customizable) and SWS (Superior weapon systems) (railed).

Top rail is the JPTR-R. It is available for 20% off when you purchase the handguard.

That's JP's rail for the VTAC , they use the same add on rail for both the 308 & 223.
I fitted the hand guard nut to fit flush with the upper receiver . The JP rail has elongated screw holes so it can go forward or back a little, to get the rails to run with out a gap .
Not needed ,but I think its a better look . Shoots just fine .

Two things....

Just tossing it out there, but I am VERY happy with my Superior Weapons Systems (SWS) E-1 Forearm.

Second,  If you have an new DPMS upper receiver, it may not line up on the same height as the rail on many forearms.  DPMS changed its height (Screwed it up) IIRC.  Fortunately, I have the older one.

This one is on a SI Defence , Gen II ,billet upper  , which has the older rail spec's.

DPMS didn't screw it up, They did it for all the scopes out there that have huge objective lens diameters so you don't have to use very tall rings. Why do you need a rail all the way down the top of the handguard ???  JMHO....

Ya need tall rings to get the scope at the proper level to see through it .
Lowering the rail height (from what it was )just means you need taller rings to accomplish it.

Kinda screws things up for folks who want to use back up iron sights if the front sight is significantly lower than the rear.  For folks who need big bells on their scopes due to glass with inferior light transmission, they do make risers or high mount scope rings.
