I installed a Jewell trigger and everything has been great for about 1000 or 2000 shots .It now has
a light hammer fall when the trigger is gently pulled (as in click only) although it fires when the trigger is pulled with more speed .I dissasembled cleaned and reassebbled and adjusted
as per instructions . I also tried more or less
sear engagement and more or less overtravel .(thought I might have been adjusting too close to
some line ) When I take the lower only and pull the
trigger while holding the hammer and slowly letting
it spring foward it has a partial "Hitch" or "bump"
about 3/4 of the way foward . Is this normal or
is this my problem ? I Have spent some time
and can't see anything causeing what seems to be
some kind of interference os the hammer travels
foward .
Thanks for any help     NHSPORT

It sounds like the overtravel to me. Check to see if the hammer is hitting at the front of the trigger where it has the "bump". If so, try resetting the overtravel.

Edited to add--did you make sure to get it clean? If it has solvent or gunk in it, it will screw up also.
