I am trying to improve on shot placement grouping, but the stock trigger on my Doublestar has a heavy pull and causing me to pull.

Any suggestions on a modular trigger system?

I am looking at the McCormick or Timney.

i'll be watching this thread aswell.

i was looking at the skeletonized timney when i was told the JP modular was better ( might have been, but its now out of stock and discontinued... so im back to square one :( )

No experience with either of those but I would highly recommend the Geissele SSA.

I have 2 Timneys and a couple of McCormick triggers also. I like them both, easy to install.

All of the Giessele triggers are relatively gravy to install.... and excellent

Wilson TTU is the only modular one I would trust on a "duty" level rifle. Not sure if that is part of your requirement. Since it costs roughly $100 more than the SSA, most people opt for the extra couple minutes on the install of the Geissele.

Doh my apologies, I disregarded the "modular" part. FWIW, The Geissele is super easy to install- took me all of 10-15 minutes and not having a clue what I was doing when I started.

haha.....post 6920 and 6940 in one day.
And you wasted them both.
