[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need Paint Help

I've decided to apply a camo paint scheme to my AR. I'll probably use the Krylon Fusion spray paint for the buttstock, pistol grip and the bottom rail of my ARMS SIR. I need some suggestions on what paint to use for the SIR upper. Also, do I need to prep the pieces before I paint them?

prepping is #1 in painting anything. Use degreaser or auto prep stuff. Check out the arms and tactics button towards the top of the page and follow it to the refinishing forum. Lots of good info there
