[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need a Gas Block

So I'm looking to have my 20" A1 barrel cut down to 8" and my question is, is there anyone who makes a gas block that works with the small .65" barrel diameter??? Or is there a prefered vendor that specializes in AR pistols and pistol accessories who would be able to help me?? As a last resort I guess I could have a sleeve made to allow the standard gas block size to work

So nobody here has ever cut down one of the A1 gov. profile barrels?. Basically I'm looking for a gas block that can be attached to barrel with a .625" OD barrel

2/3 of the way down the page. A Larue Tactical (excellent company) low-pro steel or Randalls own alumnium low-pro gas block.
