Well I sighted my AR in today.  Used the Battlesight Zero from the FM3.22-9 and followed it to the letter.  Using the unmarked aperture I was getting all 3 shots within the circle on the 25 meter zero target.  Well after switching back to the marked aperture and firing at a target I was hitting 2-3" low.  Is this normal?  I was looking at some charts on the Maryland AR15 sight and it looks like it but just want to make sure.  Is there any better way to zero other than what I read on the manual?

I always shoot with the unmarked aperture. The 0-2 sight is for shooting in limited vis. like low light and with a pro mask on.What distance was the target you were shooting with the 0-2?

I was shooting at a target 25 meters away.

I would just not use the 0-2 sight unless limited vis. Thats what it is made for.

Yeah, I would set the drum to "Z", zero it at 25, then move it to 6/3 or 8/3 depending on the rifle... That will give you a 300 meter zero...

Also, as I stated earlier I would just use the small apature...
