Hi ! I got this upper but i dont know what it is.... Ofcourse it is AR but witch modell,its Colt made..??? am i right ??? Anyone tell me about it !!!! Yes, it´s "somekind of military version"  , early M16 with 1/12" twist at least chrome lined chamber (not sure about bore). It has been Magnetic Particle tested and it is made by Colt.On your first pisc it seems there is straight slip ("delta") ring, so your upper is in original configuration. It a put together upper. The receiver appears to be a 604 (M16) receiver dating before 1968 (no forge codes). The barrel is dated sometime between 1968 and 1971 as it is chrome chamber only. The delta ring is black. Therefore it is a replacement part. For this to be correct it should have a gray delta ring and a unchromed barrel. |
